Send the part. Get a real number back tomorrow.
A photo from your phone is enough to start a 3D printing quote. A STEP file is better. Either way you get a written quote with the material, the tolerance, the price and a committed date within one business day, from Puerto Rico, the US mainland or anywhere else.
How it works
From the part in your hand to the part on your line.
Four steps, and the first one takes a minute. Nothing runs without a written quote and an approved first article.
Go to the form-
1
Send the part or the file
A STEP file, a phone photo with a rough size, or the physical part, even broken. Use the form below or call.
-
2
Written quote in one business day
Material, process, tolerance, price and a committed date, with the material data sheet attached.
-
3
First article
On approval we build one part, measure it against the model and send you the record before anything else runs.
-
4
Production and delivery
The run, the inspection record and the CAD you own, delivered in Puerto Rico or shipped by freight to the US mainland and beyond.
What to send
What to send, by service.
The more the quote has to work with, the tighter the number. This is the minimum for each service, and what helps beyond it.
| Service | Send this | Also helpful |
|---|---|---|
| Rapid prototyping | A STEP file, or a photo with a rough size | Quantity and the date you need it |
| Reverse engineering | The part itself, even broken | A photo of where it sits and how it failed |
| 3D scanning and inspection | The part and the CAD it must match | The drawing with the critical dimensions marked |
| Jigs and fixtures | The part the fixture holds and a photo of the station | Cycle time and how the operator loads it |
Pricing
How much does 3D printing cost? 3D printing prices in Puerto Rico.
It depends on the part, which is why the quote states the number instead of a price list. Five things set it, and the quote shows how each one landed for your part.
- Volume: how much material the part and its supports use.
- Height: how tall the part stands on the platform, which sets machine time.
- Material: standard, engineering, biocompatible or carbon filled, each with its own data sheet.
- Quantity: one first article or a run, and whether the run repeats.
- Finish: as printed, sanded, inserts pressed, or painted, plus any inspection record you specify.
CETS serves Puerto Rico and the US mainland, with international service available.
FAQ
Common questions
How much does 3D printing cost?
It depends on the part, so the quote states the number rather than a price list. Five things drive it: the volume of material, the height of the part on the platform, the material family, the quantity, and the finish you need. Send the file or a photo and you have a written price in one business day.
What is the 3D printing turnaround time?
Quotes go out within one business day. Prototypes typically ship in three to five working days. Reverse engineering from a sample is typically five to ten working days to an approved first article. Every quote carries its own committed date.
What file formats can I send?
STEP is best. IGES, STL, SLDPRT and native CAD from most systems also work, as do DXF and PDF drawings. If you have no file, a phone photo with a rough size, or the physical part, is enough to start.
Do you quote for customers outside Puerto Rico?
Yes. CETS serves Puerto Rico and the US mainland, with international service available. Files arrive from anywhere, and finished parts ship by freight with the inspection record and the CAD you own.
