For labs, clinics and device makers3D printed dental models and surgical guides only help a lab when they come off the printer to the file it validated, in the resin it validated, with a record that says so. CETS prints to your workflow on the Form 4B and sends the material data sheet and the print record with every case.
Built for labs and clinics
The published Formlabs technical data sheet for the exact resin used, including the biocompatibility documentation Formlabs publishes for it.
Resin and lot, layer height, orientation, wash and post-cure cycle, written down for every case so your file has what an audit asks for.
We print the STL you send at the settings your workflow validated. Nothing in the geometry changes without your written approval.
Send the cases your own printers cannot take this week. Quoted in one business day, typically shipped in 3 to 5 working days.
CETS supplies 3D printed dental models, surgical guides, aligner and thermoforming models, occlusal splints, try-ins and custom trays to dental laboratories, clinics and dental device makers, printed on the Form 4B in BioMed and dental resins at 25 micron layers. Files come from your intraoral scanner or design software as STL or OBJ; parts go back with the material data sheet and a print record, in English or Spanish.
For a dental laboratory in Puerto Rico that needs overflow capacity or a second printer, CETS prints your validated file on the Form 4B and returns the models with the resin data sheet and the print record.
What we make
Dental work runs on the Form 4B, in the BioMed resins and in the Formlabs dental resin line for models, guides and splints. Layer height is set to your workflow, down to 25 microns where the case needs it.
Your validation
CETS prints to the workflow your lab or clinic validated: your file, your resin, your layer height, your wash and post-cure cycle. Where you have no preference we print to the resin manufacturer's published settings and say so on the print record. That is the whole scope of dental 3D printing at CETS: the part, made to your instructions, with the paper that proves it.
The clinical determination for any appliance, and any regulatory status attached to it, belong to the dentist, the laboratory or the device maker who places or supplies it. CETS supplies the printed part, the material data sheet and the print record they need to make that determination.
How we document regulated workFormlabs customer material
Formlabs documents dental applications of the Form 4B and its resins in its own customer stories: surgical guides, models and splints printed in dental laboratories and clinics. The card here is Formlabs customer material, shown so you can see the workflow CETS prints to. It is not CETS work.
CETS serves Puerto Rico and the US mainland, with international service available.
FAQ
Quotes go out in one business day. Models, guides and splints typically ship in 3 to 5 working days from an approved file. Tell us the seat date and the number of arches when you send the case and we plan the print to it.
STL and OBJ exports from intraoral scanners and dental design software, and PLY where that is what your scanner writes. Send the file as designed, with the base, hollowing and drill sleeve positions already in it. We print the geometry you send and do not alter it without your written approval.
The one your workflow validated. If you have not chosen, we recommend from the BioMed and dental resin families by application, send the technical data sheet with the quote, and record the resin and its lot on the print record so the choice is documented for your file.
The dentist, laboratory or device maker who places or supplies it. CETS prints to your validated file and workflow and provides the material data sheet and the print record. The clinical determination, and any regulatory status attached to the appliance, stay with you.
